Hovlena™ StormRelay Portable Emergency Weather Radio — Rechargeable NOAA Weather Alert Receiver with AM/FM Radio, Hand-Crank Backup Charging, LED Flashlight & USB-C Power for Camping, Storm Preparedness and Outdoor Travel

The Hovlena™ StormRelay is a portable emergency weather radio designed for households, campers, road travelers, and outdoor enthusiasts who want convenient access to weather broadcasts and local radio information. Combining NOAA weather-band reception, AM/FM radio, rechargeable power, and a manually operated charging mechanism, StormRelay provides a practical way to receive broadcast information when internet access is unavailable or unreliable. Its compact, self-contained construction makes it suitable for emergency supply kits, recreational travel, and everyday radio listening.

📡 Dedicated NOAA Weather Reception

A built-in weather-band receiver allows users to tune into available NOAA Weather Radio broadcasts in the United States. Select the weather band using the physical mode switch, then adjust the channel to locate a receivable station. Broadcasts can provide weather forecasts, watches, warnings, and other official information.

🚨 Automatic Weather Alert Monitoring

StormRelay includes a selectable alert-monitoring mode designed to recognize supported NOAA weather-alert signaling. When an applicable alert signal is received, the radio activates an audible notification to draw attention to the broadcast. Alert reception requires a suitable station signal and sufficient operating power.

📻 AM/FM Radio Listening

Beyond weather monitoring, StormRelay functions as a conventional portable radio. A dedicated band selector switches between AM and FM reception, while a textured tuning wheel allows manual station selection. The integrated speaker delivers spoken broadcasts, local news, and music without requiring a smartphone or wireless network.

🔄 Hand-Crank Backup Charging

A fold-out hand crank drives an internal generator that supplies supplemental charging power to the rechargeable battery. This provides an alternative charging method when a USB power source is unavailable. The crank folds into a recessed rear compartment when not in use, keeping the housing comfortable to carry.

🔋 USB-C Rechargeable Battery

The integrated battery can be recharged through a USB-C connection using a compatible external power source. A simple battery-level indicator helps users check the remaining charge before packing the radio for travel or storing it in an emergency kit.

🔦 Integrated LED Utility Flashlight

A forward-facing LED flashlight provides localized illumination for finding equipment, checking supplies, or navigating a dark campsite. A dedicated physical button operates the light independently of radio tuning, making it accessible without changing the selected broadcast station.

🎛️ Tactile Controls & Practical Construction

Large, distinctly shaped switches separate power, radio-band selection, volume, and flashlight operation. A telescoping antenna supports radio reception, while a recessed 3.5mm headphone jack provides an option for private listening with compatible wired headphones.

🎨 Modern Industrial Design

StormRelay features a horizontally oriented housing with a dark slate-blue polymer shell, impact-conscious corner bumpers, and a high-visibility orange carrying loop.

The front combines a perforated speaker grille with a compact frequency display. Ribbed rotary controls sit along the upper edge, while the folding crank and USB-C port are positioned on the rear.

Its broad, flat base allows stable placement on a table, shelf, or campsite surface.

🏕️ Practical Everyday Applications

Home Storm Preparedness: Keep StormRelay in a household emergency kit to access receivable radio broadcasts during severe weather or disruptions to internet service.

Camping & Road Travel: Use weather-band and AM/FM reception to check available broadcasts while traveling through areas with limited cellular coverage.

Reception and alert availability depend on geographic coverage, signal conditions, and device setup. StormRelay supplements official emergency communication channels rather than replacing them.

Hovlena™ StormRelay brings weather reception, independent radio listening, and flexible charging options together in a purpose-built portable electronic companion for travel and emergency preparedness.
